Has it been 8 weeks already?? The Pi-Vintage litter are all in their forever homes and enjoying their new lives with some wonderful people. We wish all the new families that are owned by these puppies all the best for their future together!

Week 5 pictures from the April 23, 2017 Pi-Vintage litter can be now be viewed on our Puppies page! The puppies are now eating 3 solid meals a day, and are almost weaned off of momma. They are spending lots of time playing and getting exposed to the sights and sounds of the great outdoors!

Week 4 pictures from the April 23, 2017 Pi-Vintage litter can be now be viewed on our Puppies page! The puppies are now on solid food – they each get kibble for breakfast, meat for lunch, while being gradually weened off of momma. By the end of the week they will be receiving 3 meals a day (2 kibble and 1 raw meat). Puppy weights are now up over 7-and-a-half pounds and rising rapidly!

These pictures were taken May 7, so the puppies were exactly two weeks old at the time the photos were taken. The puppies eyes are all open and they are growing quickly – on average around four pounds at this stage in their early lives.

Shades of Excellence is pleased to announce the arrival of the new litter from the breeding of GCH Dewitt’s Court Sterling Mathematician (“Pi”) to Am BISS Ch Shades Vintage Stetson, Evia (“Vintage”)! The new litter consists of six puppies total – all blue, with 3 males and 3 females. This is the second successful breeding between these two beautiful champion Danes. Pictures from the first litter can be viewed on our Puppies page! Individual pictures of the new puppies will be available soon. The puppies just turned 7 weeks old and are outdoors to play for on a daily basis. They have been completely weaned from mamma, and are coming up on their ear croppings this week. Soon they will be ready to go to their forever homes!
