| We are pleased to announce that Shades Blue Skies Astralabe ("Astra") captured Best of Winners and Best Puppy in Breed at the Great Dane Specialty in Vineland Station, Ontario, Canada on September 17! The show was sponsored by the Association Of Great Dane Fanciers. Despite being only 7 months old and appearing in her first show, Astra took the show by storm, beating out over 90 Danes for the coveted BW title! |

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved CA CH Magic's Midsumr Knight Dream, aka "Saint". Saint will always be remembered for his gentle, playful attitude. Even at 8 years of age, Saint always acted like a young pup - zooming around the house, playing tug of war, and always letting you know when he needed your attention with a playful paw to the back. Throughout his life, he always lived up to his name!! Saint leaves behind numerous children and grandchildren to carry on his legacy.
Gone but always remembered...we love you Saint!!!

The SOE Store has been remodeled!
The SOE Store has undergone a facelift! We've moved the frontend to our store off of Cafepress.com and onto our own web server. This allows us more flexibility in the overall design and ways to display our products. Visitors to our store can now search for products based on product type, artistic design or price! New pictures (as of 4/10/2005) are available on the Litterbox page!
The Imax-Avital Litter is officially 8 weeks old and have received their vaccinations,
plus they are now microchipped. Their ears have been cropped, and will be taped
up as soon as they heal - at which time they will be heading out to their new
homes!
For you future owners of this litter, below are some "before" and "after"
pictures of "Levana", a blue female from last year's litter. This should hopefully
give folks a taste of what their pups will look like very soon!

Congratulations to Magnum and Jaqueline's dog Tyr (Shades
A Bolt From The Blue), who took Reserve Winners at the Elgin County
Kennel Club in London, Ontario on January 15 & 16, 2005. This
was Tyr's first show and he performed admirably despite his lack
of experience! We are expecting bith things from this big boy! Congrats
to Bill and Amy, Tyr's owners!
